Barbara K. Gutierrez
Barbara Gutierrez serves as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Jones Knowledge, Inc. and its subsidiaries. As Chief Financial Officer, Barbara provides financial leadership and direction for the Jones Knowledge companies, and is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting functions, as well as, financial analysis, strategic planning and various operational functions.
Barbara has over twenty years of financial and operational experience with public and private companies. Barbara professional strength and experience has been with the financial and operational management of emerging businesses. Prior to her appointment to Chief Financial Officer in August 2000, Barbara was the Corporate Controller for Quovadx, Inc. (formerly XCare.net, Inc.), a leading provider of strategic eBusiness development and consulting services for the healthcare industry. She served as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of PhyCor of Denver, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of PhyCor, Inc. Barbara's professional tenure also includes executive level positions with several subsidiaries of HealthONE.
Barbara is a Certified Public Accountant with prior experience at Deloitte & Touche, LLP (formerly Deloitte, Haskins & Sells). She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from the University of Denver, and is a member of the Colorado Society and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and other educational professional associations.
