Senior Director of Finance

Position is responsible for the overall financial planning, analysis and reporting activities of the Company and for the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of internal and external financial reports.  This will include overall responsibility for preparing financial and statistical reporting, analyzing costs and profitability, annual budget preparation, periodic forecasting, variance analysis, and ad hoc analysis.  This position will also work closely with the CFO and senior management team in analyzing metrics and financial results that will be used to make business decisions. Participates in the implementation of growth and business strategies to improve overall success and profitability.

Formal Education Required and/or Equivalent Experience:

·         Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred

·         CPA required

·         SEC experience preferred

·         Minimum of 10 years accounting or finance experience

·         Management and supervisory experience required

Materials & Equipment Used & Frequency:

·         Microsoft Office – Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint

·         Experience with budgeting and/or G/L systems

Technical/ Task Statements:

1.      Responsible for overall management of Finance Department.

2.      Perform financial reporting activities for the Company to satisfy internal as well as, external reporting requirements.

3.      Planning and administration of the budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes.

4.      Prepare financial, statistical, and operating metrics for the company to meet internal and external reporting requirements.

5.      Participate with other members of management in developing strategies for improvement and growth of the company.

6.      Assist individual members of the organization relative to the operating and reporting requirements of the Company.

7.      Perform financial analysis of the products/services and business unites of JKG; build models as needed to forecast future business opportunities.

8.      Analyze financial information for trends, prepare product pricing, analysis comparing to costs and market, and prepare recommendations for the organization; address internal and external market research questions.

9.      Responsible for cash flow analysis and forecasting.

10.  Evaluate and implement policies and procedures, as needed, in order to report accurate financial information and maintain adequate internal controls.

11.  Aligned with corporate goals and objectives, assist with the development of the strategic direction, and implementation tactics within the organization.

12.  Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently with proven success.

13.  Perform ad hoc financial analysis in order to ensure that business objectives are being met.

14.  Recommend process and system improvements in order to obtain effective and efficient operations.

15.  Perform due diligence as needed and evaluate proposed valuation for potential M & A activity.
