Position Summary:
This position is responsible for all aspects of the implementation of projects related to Jones International University. The Project Manager (PM) manages the scope schedule and cost of JIU new initiatives and operational release items. The PM will :
• Define project scope and objectives
• Develop detailed work plans that include milestone deliverables
• Provide overarching project time and cost estimates gathered from internal teams that include resource allocation plans
• Maintain status reports and Executive Dashboard
• Maintain MS Project Plans and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
• Conduct project kick off and ongoing project team meetings.
The position will also provide performance analysis for JIU systems and other functional area processes. The PM will also collaborate with the Jones Technology Group and Jones Infrastructure Management Team in reviewing designs and development for systems and technology related projects.
This particular PM position will focus on projects related to JIU's Programs and JIU Academic Release Management.
Formal Education Required and/or Equivalent Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent required
• Master's Degree in Project Management or equivalent preferred
• 2 - 3 years experience in project management preferred
• Accreditation and/or Compliance experience a plus
• HLC Compliance experience a plus
• Microsoft Enterprise Project Server experience a plus

• Documents project components and is able to communicate them to other project team members, ex: project plan, communication plan, requirements/change control, and testing feedback
• Tracks project components using Microsoft Project
• Able to prioritize, set and maintain schedules
• Creates comprehensive and clear process flows using Visio
• Provides performance support analysis of JIU systems and processes
• Able to set and enforce accountability standards
• Able to understand business needs and translate into technical requirements
• Collaborates with all of the Jones companies and adheres to companywide Project Management methodology standards on projects and initiatives
