Chuck Leary Named Evening Host on Jones Radio Networks Good Time Oldies Format; Dave Sanders Moves to Mornings
Jones Radio Networks®, Inc. (JRN), America's leading independent radio programming company, is pleased to announce that Chuck Leary has been named the new full-time evening host for the Good Time Oldies format. The move will send former evening host Dave Sanders, host of "Dave's Diner" to anchor the morning time slot.
JJ McKay, Operations Manager for Good Time Oldies says, "I had the pleasure of first working with Chuck in the early '90s at Denver's country giant KYGO-FM when he was an integral part of the morning "Waking Crew" show. I am so happy to have been afforded this opportunity to work with him again on a format he now calls home-Good Time Oldies."
McKay says of Sanders, "Dave brings with him the same fun, energetic delivery his listeners came to know during the Diner hours. He will still have features like the Beatles Buffet, his famous contests, as well as some new show additions that will bring more spice to the weekday mornings."
Leary, a 35 year radio veteran has been working on Good Time Oldies as a part-time on-air personality known as Charlie Apples, but will use the name Chuck Leary in his new full-time capacity. Over the past few years, Leary has also had on-air stints on JRN's CD Country and US Country and has programmed, produced and been an on-air personality on stations from KWAV-FM in Monterey, California to legendary Country station KYGO-FM in Denver.
Sanders, a master at creating "theater of the mind", had been hosting Dave's Diner weekday evenings for the past 15 years of. He has worked in a variety of formats and is frequently heard on regional and national commercials.
Leary's "Coast to Coast Request Show" can be heard weekdays from 7:00p-Midnight ET and Sanders can be heard weekdays from 6:00a - 11:00a ET.
