Eric Wiler Promoted to Vice President of Technology for Jones Radio Networks

Jones Radio Networks^®, Inc. (JRN), America's leading independent radio programming company, is pleased to announce that Eric Wiler has been promoted to Vice President of Technology for JRN.

Phil Barry, JRN Group VP/General Manager says, "Eric richly deserves this promotion. Over the past year, JRN has transformed the network delivery platform to be advantageous for both our affiliates and advertisers. As the Vice President of Technology, Eric's leadership will enable us to continue that evolution, while bringing all facets of JRN's technology infrastructure under one umbrella."

Wiler, in his second stint with JRN, first came to the company in the early '90's as a part-time engineer, eventually working his way to Director of Engineering. He left in 1998 to work for Clear Channel's Premiere Radio Networks, but returned in 2001 to supervise the launch of JRN's Starguide platform and manage numerous projects including the conversion of the JDAS receiver platform. Wiler will now direct the efforts of all technical departments within JRN including Broadcast Engineering, Distribution Services and Information Technology.
