Jones e-global library Signs Agreement
MuseGlobal software will consolidate research across multiple databases
DENVER (Sept. 8, 2005)-Jones e-global library®, Inc., an entirely virtual library and subsidiary of Jones Knowledge®, Inc., has signed an agreement with MuseGlobal, Inc. to incorporate "federated search" capabilities into the library's functions. For e-global library subscribers, a federated search means users will no longer be required to search each database individually; any number of library databases can be accessed simultaneously in a single search.
"Our agreement with Muse marks the arrival of a remarkable enhancement of the services we provide our customers," said e-global library President Barbara Gutierrez. "Students conducting research in the course of their studies will be able to do so with much greater efficiency and confidence."
The federated search software will be made available as an optional service within e-global library in November 2005.
