Jones International University® Graduate Appointed Judge for Arapahoe County Court
DENVER, Colo., (January 6, 2012) – Jones International University® (JIU®) congratulates Cheryl Rowles-Stokes on her recent appointment by Governor John Hickenlooper as the new county court judge in the 18th Judicial District. Rowles-Stokes is a graduate of JIU and received her Masters of Business Administration from the University before pursuing a J.D. from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver.
The Colorado Judicial Branch announced that the Governor appointed Rowles-Stokes to fill a vacancy created by Judge Ethan Feldman’s retirement. Rowles-Stokes, who lives in Aurora, directs the Economic Crimes Unit of the 18th Judicial District Attorney’s office and will move into her new role as county court judge for the 18th District effective immediately. Prior to her position on the Economic Crimes Unit, Rowles-Stokes held human resources positions with High Speed Access Corp. and Rifkin & Associates.
