Jones Radio Networks to Handle Affiliate Sales for Workin' It
Jones Radio Networks® (JRN) has announced it is now handling affiliate sales for Workin' It, a weekly, one-hour progressive radio show focusing on working life in America.
Hosted by comedienne and author Jackie Guerra, the lively magazine program puts the media spotlight on the declining state of workers' rights. Workin' It will soon expand to a two-hour format to include listener call-ins and expert analysis on rights in the workplace.
"Whether you're a janitor in L.A., an office worker in D.C., or a teacher in Boise, we all want the same things on the job-dignity, respect and fair treatment," says Guerra. "Our show makes you think, laugh and take action to bring justice and fair play into the American workplace."
Workin' It includes:
- News Updates
- Features that take a closer look at the American workplace
- Interviews with politicians, activists, celebrities and workers from all walks of life who will each share their perspectives about work and working
- Commentaries from American Rights at Work Board Chair and former Congressman David Bonior and Board Member and economist Harley Shaiken of UC Berkeley
- A healthy dose of comedy and satire
