Jones Radio Networks Hires Steve Payne as Assistant Operations Manager for Rock Classics Format

Jones Radio Networks^®, Inc. (JRN), America's leading independent radio programming company, is pleased to announce the hiring of Steve Payne as the Assistant Operations Manager for JRN Rock Classics.

Steve spent a lot of time in the trenches with KRFX in Denver and has the technical background and the passion to help us push one of America's biggest Classic Rock formats to new heights", says Adam Fendrich, Operations Manager for JRN Rock Classics.

Payne, who began his radio career in 1999, most recently served as the Music Director/Assistant Program Director for KRFX, and as the Music Director for KRFX's HD2 channel. He also served as a Director of Programming for Clear Channel's Top 75 Channels Format Lab project during that time. Payne has also had stints as Music Director at KPAW in Fort Collins, CO and KRVK in Casper, WY.
