Jones/NCTI Expands Curriculum Development and Sales Teams with New Associates Joe Thomas and Erik Hultman

Jones/NCTI™, the largest provider of corporate training products, professional services and education for the broadband and cable industry, has recently hired Joe Thomas as a Curriculum Developer and Erik Hultman as a Business Solutions Sales Manager in the professional services area.

Thomas will be responsible for editing, updating and creating effective and relevant course content for the broadband industry. In addition, he will work with current and future customers to develop custom training materials and skills assessments and explore e-learning opportunities.

Thomas is a 26-year cable and telecommunications industry veteran and has supported MSO and carrier deployments of video, data and optical technologies while working at Jones Intercable, Scientific-Atlanta, 3Com, Lucent Technologies, Aurora Networks and OpVista. He has been an active SCTE member since 1984 and is currently an at-large board member for the SCTE Rocky Mountain Chapter.

Hultman, as the company's newest Business Solutions Sales Manager, will sell Jones/NCTI professional services to cable operators and other telecommunications companies, as well as to companies that sell products and services to cable and telecommunications system operators.

Prior to joining Jones/NCTI, Hultman was a client for nearly five years, serving as the National Sales Manager representative for a web-based training content development company. He brings with him wide-ranging knowledge of corporate, government and military accounts, as well as skills in finance from his work at Kraft Foods' world headquarters. He will work for Jones/NCTI from its Chicago-based office and will travel globally as a representative of the company.
