ASTD Rocky Mountain Chapter Selects Jones/NCTI's
LogiCALL Decision Tools for Superior Training Achievement

Jones/NCTI™, the largest provider of corporate training products, professional services, and education for the broadband and cable industry, will be the recipient of a 2006 Superior Training Achievement Recognition (STAR) award for its LogiCALL Decision Tools™ product. The award—in the external consultants category—will be bestowed by the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD) at a celebration dinner Dec. 6 in Denver. STAR awards are given each year in only five categories.

LogiCALL was created by Jones/NCTI as an electronic performance support tool to guide customer service agents through the decision-making process. It uses decision tree methodology and is accessed through an agent's desktop, prompting him/her to follow a series of mouse click-through questions and answers with customers. LogiCALL can significantly reduce training time for technical call agents and provides real-time training resources to assist agents as they resolve customer service issues. In contact center testing, LogiCALL's troubleshooting capabilities trimmed expenses related to truck rolls, improved phone-call-resolution-to-truck-roll ratios and decreased truck rolls, regardless of call volume.

"It's tremendously gratifying to have LogiCALL singled out for recognition," said Jones/NCTI Vice President and Chief Learning Officer Alan Babcock, "particularly by the professional association in the training industry. We're very proud of this product and the value it brings to our customers."

ASTD is the world's largest association dedicated to workplace learning and performance professionals, with members in more than 15,000 organizations. The STAR award was created to reward excellence in training and learning programs and projects in the ASTD Rocky Mountain Chapter area. This is the 3rd annual best practices STAR awards program.
