JRN Talent Captures 4 of 5 Nominations for ACM National On-Air Personality of the Year

Jones personalities account for four of the five nominees in this category - a noteworthy accomplishment.

CBS will broadcast the 42nd Annual ACM Awards on Tue., May 15, to more than 175 countries. Composed of more than 3,000 professional members, the ACM was founded in 1964 with a mission to support, promote and enhance the advancement of the Country Music industry.

Heard by three million listeners on more than 180 stations, Lia was the 2005 Country Music Association winner for National Broadcast Personality of the Year. Lia has also recently been awarded her third Gracie Allen Award® from the Association of Women in Radio and Television.

The popular host of Danny Wright All Night, Danny Wright has previously been named Major Market Personality of the Year by the Country Music Association, Country Radio Broadcasters and Billboard Magazine.

Bill Cody is one of the biggest names In Country radio, holding court as morning host at WSM-AM 650 in Nashville. As host of Bill Cody Classic Country Weekend, Bill takes the reins of 230 radio stations across the country for four hours every weekend.

Hosted by Kingsley, Bob Kingsley's Country Top 40 is a four-hour, weekly countdown program. Kingsley earned the first CMA National Broadcast Personality of the Year Award in 2001, and then again in 2003. He was inducted into the Country Music DJ Hall of Fame in 1998.
