Listeners Help Bring the "Full" Stephanie Miller Show Back to KKGN-AM in San Francisco

Date:
01/30/2008

The Stephanie Miller Show, distributed nationally by Jones Radio Networks®, Inc. (JRN), is pleased to announce that the full show returns to KKGN-AM in San Francisco, airing from 6:00am -9:00am PT, effective Tuesday, January 29th.

The full show, originally debuting in September 2006 on what was then known as KQKE-AM, was cut back by station management to one hour on January 21st. Listeners did not agree with the move, and after only one week, KKGN-AM management made the decision to, once again, provide The Stephanie Miller Show in its entirety.

John Scott, Program Director for KKGN-AM says, "The netroots feedback we have received is unlike anything I have ever seen for any show, in any format, in my entire career. It was real, it was raw, and it was passionate. The bottom line: our audience loves her."

Since its September 2004 debut, The Stephanie Miller Show has become one of the fastest-growing programs in progressive talk. Her fresh voice and political satire have been cultivated over years of experience as a media personality and comedienne. The daughter of former Republican Rep. William Miller, Stephanie began her radio career at Hot 104 in Buffalo, N.Y., before moving to Rochester, Chicago and New York City, where she was on Hot 97 in morning drive. She eventually settled in Los Angeles, where she is now a ratings winner at KTLK-AM, the flagship station for the show.

The Stephanie Miller Show airs live Monday through Friday from 9:00am - Noon ET, is produced by Ron Hartenbaum's WYD Media Management, LLC and is heard on more than 40 stations in major markets such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington D.C. and Boston.
