Suddenlink Communications Taps Jones/NCTI
Program Targets Supervisors, Managers, Directors and VPs
DENVER (August 29, 2006)-Among the country's ten largest cable operators, Suddenlink Communications-formerly Cebridge Connections-is readying its customer care management with leadership training from Jones/NCTI™, the largest provider of corporate training products, professional services and education for the broadband and cable industry.
Jones/NCTI has recently begun the instructor-led training for Suddenlink supervisors and managers in Texas, and will initiate training in North Carolina and West Virginia in the near future. The program, taught in seven sessions of one to four days, includes supervisory, management and general business curriculum proven in the cable industry, as well as material specifically developed for Suddenlink.
"Suddenlink acquired more than a million subscribers in 2006," said Vince Stinton, business solutions manager for Jones/NCTI. "With that dramatic expansion, they recognize the need to make sure their customer care managers continue to develop an already strong set of skills and capabilities. We've got 30 years of experience in this arena, and we're really pleased to be part of their success going forward."
Suddenlink currently serves 1.4 million subscribers as a result of system acquisitions from Cox Communications and Charter Communications. The Jones/NCTI leadership program will train the company's customer care management over a period of 19 days.
